1. What are Microwaves?
Microwaves are a form of high frequency electromagnetic waves (frequency is 2450MHz) similar to those used by TV & Radio.

2.How Microwave Oven Cooks Food?
Electricity is converted into Microwave energy, they are reflected by the metal walls of the Microwave Oven cavity and conducted into the food - penetrating the container holding the food and get absorbed microwaves, cause the food molecules to vibrate at very high frequency, causing friction and releasing heat, which cooks the Food.

3.How Microwave Oven cooking is beneficial than conventional cooking?
In a Conventional cooking, the air & the wall of the container heat up first. This heat is then transferred on to the surface, and then conducted to the core of food, thus cooking the Food from the outside to it's core. Resulting some times under cooked food and overcooked the container. In Microwave Oven, the air & wall do not heat up . Microwaves penetrate through the container & food resulting a inside to outside cooking which gives a uniform & simultaneous cooking all the time. Saves energy, time & money.

4.What type of Food can be cooked in Microwave Oven?
Microwave Oven is a complete cooking system, which can cook almost every kind of Indian food - curries, tikkas, idlies, halwa, biryani etc without the aid of any other (Gas, electric or kerosene Always refer the operating instructions.

5. What is the penetration depth of Microwaves?
Microwaves can penetrate the food up to 1.5 inches (4cms) in thickness.

Grill Cooking - The Grill Cooking is done at a high temperature with the food close to the heat source, which gives it a rich brown appearance. Useful for thin slices of meat, chops, kebabs, sausages of piece of chicken, hot sandwiches and au gratin dishes.
Combination Cooking - Combination cooking automatically alternates between grill and microwave heating. It is this ideal for roasting meat, poultry, fish, potatoes etc. The advantage of Combination cooking is that it gives food a rich brown color and often shortens conventional cooking time. Combination setting is automatic and there is no need to set the grill temperature or power level. However the number of such settings would vary in each model as Combi 1, Combi 2 etc.
Convection Cooking - Convection oven has a Fan to circulate the Hot air in the oven cavity, resulting in uniform air temperature within the cavity and eliminating the need to place food at different levels as in the case of other ovens.

7. Important Safety Precautions for general use
1.Do not use the oven for any reason other than food preparation, such as drying cloths, paper or any other nonfood items or sterilizing purposes.
2.Do not use the oven when empty, this could damage the oven.
3.Do not use the oven cavity for any type of storage such as papers, cookbook, cookware etc.
4.Do not operate the oven without turntable trey in place.
5.Be caution while removing the turntable trey after the cooking the meats that may cause an accumulation of grease in the trey.
6.Always use hot pads or oven mitts while placing or removing food or accessories from the oven.
7.Do not use recycled paper products for cooking.
8.Do not continue to cook with metal utensils if sparking appears.
9.Do not cook eggs in the shelf, as they will explode.
10.Do not cook popcorn except in a microwave approved popcorn bag or in a commercial package recommended especially for microwave ovens.
11.Do not attempt to remove covers, panes etc.
12.Do not attempt to operate this appliance with the door open.
13.If smoke is observed switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames. 14.Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling therefore care has to be taken when handling the container.
