Honor Party Organized by Videocon
Videocon, the title sponsor of the Videocon Cup between India and South Africa hosted a gala dinner function in honor of the Indian and South African Cricket teams. The dinner was organized in the historic city of Kolkata on 25th November 2004 at Terrace Gardens, Taj Bengal.

Shri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal was the Guest of Honor for this occasion, he lit the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Chairman of the Videocon Group Venugopal N Dhoot. The function was attended by a number of dignitaries including ministers, bureaucrats and members of the two teams. Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen added glamour to the event.
